About the Artist
June Ni is a watercolor artist based in Charlotte, North Carolina. With a background in digital media, she now works primarily in watercolor, drawn to its softness, spontaneity, and quiet emotional resonance.
Her paintings explore nature, memory, and small moments of delight—distilling each subject into calm, approachable forms. Working in focused series, June captures a range of moods and themes:
– Seen and Felt, expressive landscapes where emotion and atmosphere meet
– Eats and Escapes, playful food vignettes that invite joy and nostalgia
– The Little Barn Society, whimsical portraits of animals full of quiet charm
– and Patina, a curated selection of digital works from an earlier chapter.
Each series reflects her evolving visual language and her belief in the beauty of slow, intentional art.
